Experimenting With Different Liquids--How Are They Different?

We put 3 different liquids into different jars. One jar had oil, one jar had water and one jar had Karo Syrup.
We put a marble into each jar to see how the liquids are different and how they effect the way the marble moves inside the jar. It was very interesting for the children to observe how different each liquid was. Each child had a chance to hold each jar to see the difference for themselves. Then we wrote our observations on a chart in our science notebooks.
