| To help celebrate Purim, the first grade made masks. Thank you to Morah Mushky G. for buying us the masks in Israel! They came out fabulously! The children's creativity really shone through! |

Adding Tens and Ones With and Without Regrouping

| We play games that help teach us about regrouping. |

| In math we have been learning about tens and ones. We learned how to add a 1 digit and a 2 digit number to a 2 digit number with and without regrouping. To help us develop a deep understanding of this concept, we have been using place value charts and base ten manipulatives. |

| We use math games to help reinforce the math concepts learned. This is an addition game with sums to 20. |
