Trip to the NY Aquarium Part 1

We sat inside one of the education rooms at the aquarium and listened to our instructor. She showed
us how a hermit crab finds a new shell whenever it outgrows its present shell. She showed us models of other crustaceans and how they were different and similar to the hermit crab.

Here we are looking at the progression in size of  shells that a hermit crab will try to find as it grows larger.

We are looking at a real hermit crab and watching as it crawls around the bowl.

Seahorses and other hermit crabs

A real walrus' tusk!
After we learned about the hermit crab we went into the regular aquarium building
